Camel City Play Festival is an event that we hold close to our hearts. This yearly production rounds up as any original works from local playwrights as possible. This year we had 71 submissions! A board of readers carefully read through each one making notes and finally select 10 of the strongest most unique and well rounded One Acts to be produced. 10 directors are selected, many of whom have never had the opportunity to direct before. Scenes are chosen and off we go. We find that the One Act Play Festival is an excellent opportunity for all Artists to try Theatre for the first time. Whether you are writing, Acting or Directing!
